We all know about e-bay and the online auction phenomenon. If you haven’t tried it yet then well, you probably aren’t using the internet enough to find this blogpost anyway. The problem arises when you move out of your natural habitat and find yourself in unfamiliar surroundings. Using online services when you live abroad can be difficult. Things like e-bay become more expensive if you are either a buyer or seller because you see your profits eroded by the additional mail costs involved.
Fear not! There is an answer at hand…..well for those of you who live in Spain there is answer at hand. If you live somewhere other than Spain, there may well be an answer at hand, it just isn’t here!. getting back to you expat Brits living on the Costas. sellitonthecoast.com is one of the only internet auctions in Spain that I have come across on the web. I signed up to see if it was worth it and sure enough it has all the feel of e-bay with a local touch that will save you pounds in postal costs. Check it out.

Every now and then its always good to talk about what makes the world go around..well on an individual basis anyway. To this end and for all of you out there who spend hours a day writing the same sort of stuff as I and wonder ‘where did it all begin?’ then a good place to start would be wordpress themes.
Of course, back in the day, a wordpress blog was such a novelty. This new open source code that allowed you to put pen to keyboard and make sense of the world from any computer on the planet. It spawned millions of thinkers into writers and i am sure did marvels for the art of literature…if you can find the good amongst the hundreds of millions of bad!
Now we have adsense ready wordpress themes and widget ready wordpress themes. In fact the wordpress themes market has taken a life on all of its own with spaonsors being sought by designers and the wordpress code being used to launch cheap-cost websites in their droves. I have to say, better a properly coded wordpress template than some of the 100% flash dross I still see designers flogging to unsuspecting businesses.
So yahoo to wordpress and yahoo to wordpress themes…may they go on….and on!

Acne is one of the most common chronic diseases of the skin. It typically starts with blackheads, which are formed because of the formation of oil and dead cells inside a clogged pore. They usually spread and multiply when personal hygiene is not maintained. Proper acne treatments can be start from drinking of sufficient water everyday.
Water is an important agent of treatment for acne. Water is the most effective and inexpensive detoxifying agent for the body. It is vital for flushing the waste materials or toxins outside of the body. If water inside the body is inadequate, toxins may build up and clog the skin pores, leading to acne breakouts.
Water also aids in maintaining good muscle tone as it prevents dehydration, allowing the muscles to contract normally. Water also props up shrinking cells and plump up the skin, leaving it supple, healthy, and clear of acne.
What then is the right amount of water that we need to drink? The medical community recommends drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses, or approximately 2 liters of water everyday to keep a healthy and acne-free skin.
Drinking eight glasses of water a day is a sure fire way of cleansing your body. If your acne treatment problem is getting out of hand, you should start filling up and see the difference.

Groupewise was the name on record. Unusual I thought….Novell Groupwise. His mother was french I suppose. It didn’t matter much what his name was though. When it came to a body, one name was as good as another. Everytime the name was different, but rarely did the story change.
When a body washed up downstream from the Cooper River bridge it normally meant that a story of desperation and despair, a failed marriage or a bankrupt business has led to the final confused thoughts that brought their lifeless body to my door.
I had been away for a few days so wasn’t yet back up to speed with the new cases in the county coroners office. I checked on the Groupwise storage record and saw that he had come in on Thursday.
‘Funny’ I thought, jumpers normally made their decisions at the week-ends. A statistical fact that Novell Groupwise had failed to account for before deciding to jump. The autopsy record was clean. By that I mean he drowned. There was nothing unusual that would suggest anything but the conclusion that he jumped. I mused over checking the findings of the stand-in pathologist but the thought of the paperwork to get the body back out of storage was enough to delay any action.
There was a knock at the door and the familiar head of my assistant popped into view.
‘Whatcha doing?’ he enquired, although the inference of rhetorical in his manner didn’t require a reply.
‘I grunted… Groupwise archiving ‘
‘Uh’ came the response. ‘ Another jumper for storage?’ he questioned. His wife was making a hell of a rukus last week about him’
‘Really’ I asked, looking up for the first time. Maybe there was more to this than first met the eye.
‘Tell me more….’

I don’t know about you but I can never find my car when I have parked it somewhere unfamiliar. Whether it is in Stansted airport parking….an airport that I am not accustomed to using on a regular basis or a shopping mall in downtown Charleston.
I know your supposed to remember the row or floor when you park so that you can find your car again, but how many people actually write this stuff down.
Airports are the worst because you leave your car not only for a few hours but sometimes for a couple of weeks. I remember leaving my car at Luton Airport Parking once over a long week-end in Paris. I swear it took longer to find the car than it did to fly to Paris.
Now the only place I can find the car is at Birmingham Airport Parking. Mainly because I always have to go right to the last space to actually find anywhere to park.
Not an interesting tale but I felt like a rant and that was it.
